new year resolutions
new year's eve was well spent at church enjoying a buffet of good food followed by a great sermon.
"It is written: Man shall not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God" - Matthew 4:4
pastor norman wong, the preacher for yesterday's watchnight service, pointed out that although we may be best at something, we can still be better with the help of a coach. =)
hmm... i shall attempt to keep to these over the next one year:
- read the Bible and do my quiet time regularly
- study consistently and reduce the amount of last minute study
- get my 4A's for prelims
- read magazines and newspapers regularly - attempt to achieve A2 for GP
- reduce time spent on gaming and internet
- do tutorials before classes; read up lecture notes before attending lectures
- be thrifty in my spending - save for digicam and prom!
- exercise regularly
- practise bass guitar/drums as leisure
- call home once a week, don't just sms
- keep in touch with friends regularly
- ensure that my room is tidy, clean it every fortnightly
- new attitude: be more assertive when it comes to decision making
- enquire about uni admissions and courses
